Results Now Available for the CFP Examination
TORONTO, ON – January 18, 2018 – Results are now available for the December sitting of the CFP® examination, which took place at 42 testing centres across Canada on December 1, 2017.
A total of 473 candidates wrote the CFP examination, the second and final exam on the path to CFP certification. The overall pass rate was 64%. Of the candidates who wrote the exam, 329 were first-time writers (73% pass rate) and 144 were reattempting the exam (43% pass rate).
The only globally recognized mark of financial planning professionalism, the CFP designation is obtained through extensive education, a rigorous standardized national examination process, real-world work experience requirements and accountability to FPSC for a code of ethics, practice standards, and the rules and regulations of a professional body.
