Gerry Matier, Executive Director, Insurance Council of British Columbia

Gerald has been the Executive Director of the Insurance Council of British Columbia since September 1991. The Insurance Council is the primary regulator in the province, responsible for regulating more than 24,000 persons. Gerald is currently the Chair of the Canadian Insurance Services Regulators’ Organization, serves on a number of national industry committees, and was part of the team that developed the Life Licensing Qualification Program.
